Libyan authorities have found 49 bodies of migrants in two mass graves in the southeast of the country. According to Libyan media, a mass grave with 19 bodies was discovered on a farm in the Jikharra area, while a second mass grave with at least 30 bodies was found in Kufra by authorities after raiding a migrant detention center.
The head of security in Kufra, Mohamed al-Fadeil, said that according to survivors, there could be nearly 70 people buried in the second site and investigations are ongoing.
