Assault on Congress and pardoned by President Donald Trump

Matthew Huttle allegedly resisted a police officer and was also found in possession of a firearm.

Matthew Huttle , an Indiana man who was among nearly 1,500 convicted of participating in the January 6, 2021, assault on Congress and pardoned by President Donald Trump, was killed by a police officer during a traffic stop.

Huttle was killed by a Jasper County sheriff's deputy Sunday morning after he resisted arrest during an altercation with an officer, authorities said.
