The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, has reassured that there is no need to fear US President Donald Trump's words on Greenland. The European Union must "listen" to the new American administration, "but perhaps it is not always necessary to take what is said word for word," Kallas said at the end of the Foreign Affairs Council.
"It is clear that we are strong, also in Europe, when we are together, when we are united, when we support each other in any difficulty that the different member states may encounter. But it is also essential that the United States is an important ally of ours and that we must work together on various issues," she added.
